Hi everyone, My name is Lindsay D. Wright and I am your fitness app guru here on Yoga Moldova! I completed my Yoga instructor training about 5 years ago and am currently teaching classes 6 days a week. My normal teaching schedule consists of a beginner level Hatha class in the morning and a high intensity Hot Yoga class in the afternoon. In addition to these classes I also teach some 1-on-1 sessions between classes.
While I have a passion for exercise and teaching, I also have an interest in technology. And what better way to combine both of my passions than by creating a fitness tech blog! This all started after one of my afternoon classes, a new student of mine approached me with a question. “What can I do to help learn the different poses and keep track of my progress?” I told her the best way (besides coming to class of course) would be to download a fitness app designed specifically for Yoga. When she asked me which one I would recommend I told her I’d have a look and let her know by the next class.
This was the first time I really took the time to look into different fitness apps. By the end of the night I was completely immersed in all the different options available. And so the idea for this blog was born! And although my primary interest is in Yoga, I understand that it is not for everyone. This is why I decided to cover other fitness topics as well, not just Yoga. There’s more than one way to exercise and here at Yoga Moldova, we cover the apps to help you get the most out of your favorite workout!
